There Is No Replacement For Displacement
02-14-10 Vette Update
Epoxy primer was sprayed this weekend and high build primer was sprayed on top of that.  Next step is to sand the high build primer smooth and fill any remaining hack marks.  Also have to decide on the color.  It will definitely be some type of black.  Also got the last two gauges (in dash tach and speedometer) I needed to complete the replacement of the stock gauges with Auto Meter Sport Comp II.

Quick Summary of History
This 1977 Corvette was shipped to Bob Frink Chevrolet-Oldsmobile in Ashland, OR on January 14, 1977.  The suggested retail on invoice was $10,699.65.  It had a 180 hp 350 cid motor and a turbo hydramatic 350 automatic transmission.  Early in its life the Corvette ended up on the East Coast and was purchased by relatives.  It was later purchased by my father in the mid 90's and years later became the greatest gift ever.  It sparked a new interest in cars and mechanics and has been a huge learning experience and tons of enjoyment over the years.  The original motor gave up in July of 1998 and a Jasper remanufactured engine was installed and used until 2004.  In 2004, I graduated college and finally started to transform the vette into what I wanted it to become.
