This was my first truck!  A 1997 Ford F-150 4x4.  It was black with an extended cab.  I bought it used with 43,000 miles on it in August of 2000.  I loved this truck so much, that is why when I got my new one, it was also a black extended cab F-150.  The picture above was a great shot my roommate took.  Glad he got a great shot at the time because this didn't happen often.  99% of the time it was as clean as it could be and well taken care of.  It had the 5.4L motor and when I sold it with about 113,000 miles it was still running in great shape.  I definitely miss it, though I really like my 2006 F-150 FX4.
